The meaning of “Gaia”
Gaia is the Greek Goddess of Earth. The word also carries the idea that “All is One” and proposes that all organisms work together to balance and maintain life. When forming the company back in 1998, Bruce Thompson searched for a company name that reflected the symbiotic relationship between vendors and customers, identifying something “bigger than life” while encompassing key business traits such as teamwork and cooperation.
